Pioneers of eco architecture in NZ since 1990. With offices in Wellington and Napier, BBE Architects designs residential buildings around the country. The practice philosophy is based on the Building Biology and Ecology (BBE) Institute Principles of Ecological Building and Design.
We are involved in projects from a critique of designs, eco alterations, through to new and multi residential, including subdivision planning.

Our more holistic design philosophy incorporates an awareness of the environment and knowledge that the way we choose to live not only affects our health but also the health of the environment. Biology and ecology are considered as an integral part of the design process as well as the traditional considerations of aesthetics, technology and economy.
