With the growing popularity of community gardens in residential areas, growing for both food and pleasure is proving to be a popular and therapeutic pass time.

My local one in Khandallah, Wellington offers a little suburban oasis - set amongst the amazing artwork on the street utility boxes, where you can sit on the benches under the shade of a tree, in your own world, watch the world do by, or wait for a bus!
